30 Day Review
By Don B | on 10/29/2025 2:19:04 PM
My wife purchased a new Limited Hybrid and so far she loves it. It has all the whistles and bells and for the most part they are working well with one exception. Navigating the new features is a chore for us old folks The exception is, we took it for a short drive about a week after we had it. We stopped for lunch and when we got in the car to come home the left side of the dashboard screen stayed blank. The right side was working and the HUD was working so I could see my speed on the way home We called the dealer and they said to bring it in as soon as we could. As luck would have it, the screen came back on as we turned into the dealership. They updated it and it has worked fine since It has made us a little leery about taking it far from home. All that said, this car is a real upgrade in both ride and quietness from her 2018 Sonata. We are looking forward to it giving us the good service we had with the 2018. I will provide updates as warranted… - 5.0
Smooth Ride

Best car choice I ever made, and that’s saying a lot from a person who has loved several past vehicles. I did my research and talked to friends who had the top cars, you cannot find a better service experience or a better warranty (which includes the battery) than Hyundai. It’s beautiful and the sound system is great. It’s so quiet that the dashboard has to tell me it’s ready 😆… - 5.0
2025 Sonata Limited Hybrid
By DrivingIL | on 4/21/2025 3:58:47 PM
While we can't provide a longterm review, what we can provide is our initial experience with the 2025 Hyundai Sonata Limited Hybrid we just purchased. This car is underrated in style and comfort. We are a household that has owned two Elantra limiteds, a Veloster Turbo, and a SantaFe Sport Limited and this is by far one of the most comfortable vehicles to date (and in its class in our opinion). The interior and technology simply makes you feel like you are driving a car that costs $20k more and the quiet cabin is surprising. We also considered an Accord and the Camry, but the overall ride and styling of the Sonata, inside and out, just won us over. MPG really can't be observed until after about 4k miles (engine break-in period) but we are currently on target to getting 580 miles on our first tank of gas - that is insane. The ambient lighting on the dash and driver/passenger doors is a nice touch also. Reading other reviews from people in the auto field, we were expecting ho-hum acceleration, but we've found it more than adequate and the transmission along with engine to hybrid switching is great - very smooth. If our current experience holds up long-term, this will be both a great day-to-day car and a great road trip vehicle thanks to the ride quality and MPG.…
